Our system begins by providing everything each child needs for their journey over to the US – we purchase flights, passports, luggage, and anything else required to get them here safely. Upon arrival we set them up with housing, groceries, medications, transportation, phones, computers, and any other necessities.

Offers More Than Just Education
We work with volunteers from the local Ukrainian community in Orlando, as well as various church groups in the area, to cultivate a system that integrates newcomers into the community. Volunteers within our program offer many services, whether it’s hosting students in their homes for a meal, or exploring Orlando and one of the many theme parks it contains, including Disney World, Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, and more!
During the week, students’ daily routine starts with morning chapel or Bible study, followed by language class. After lunch students attend various other classes. After school they spend time at the Fairmont Sports Academy campus, which gives them access to basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, swimming pools, weight rooms, and other facilities for extracurricular activities.
Varyvoda Christian Academy’s Vision
Our goal is to construct a school building on the grounds of the Fairmont Campus in Clermont, Florida, but currently we utilize the Quest Church building just outside of downtown Orlando.
Although we put a strong emphasis on bringing students from the Ukraine, our school is not limited to just Ukrainian students. We’ve hired a principal who has been working in the Orlando area for over a decade. He is well-connected locally, and we’ve tasked him with on-boarding students living in the Orlando area. Additionally, our partnership with Fairmont Sports Academy brings in students from all over the world, as any athletes participating with Fairmont that require any additional schooling to be NCAA eligible take classes at our school.
